Biomont based on Cryptolaemus montrouzieri is a voracious predator of sucking pests including mealybug, aphids, thrips, soft scale both larva and adults. Biomont look like large, faster-moving mealybugs, covered by white waxy material, which makes tendrils on the body and more readily distinguished by their chewing mouthparts feed on pests in large numbers.

Biomont is available as adults packed in bottles of 25, 100, 500 and 2500 each mixed with its food, inert carrier & paper strips. For curative control of light mealybug infestations, release 2-3 adult beetles per . Use 10-12/ for control of heavy mealybug populations. Make 3-4 releases at 2-3 week intervals. Predators do best in warm, humid condition. It is applied to crops like citrus, grapes, guava, mango, custard apple, pomegranate, vegetables and other herbs and ornamentals crops.
